Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and AttorneyCal, LLC (“AttorneyCal”), and govern use of the invite-only AttorneyCal pilot. By using AttorneyCal, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy.

The service

AttorneyCal matches an authenticated user to a Utah attorney record and synchronizes publicly available court hearing information into a dedicated calendar in a connected Google or Microsoft account. The pilot may change, pause, or end as the product is tested.

Important professional responsibility

AttorneyCal is a technology service, not a law firm, and does not provide legal services or legal advice. It is not an official court record, a court filing system, or a substitute for court notices, docket review, calendaring procedures, or professional judgment. Use of AttorneyCal does not create an attorney-client relationship with AttorneyCal, LLC or any law firm with which its owner is affiliated. Court data and synchronization can be incomplete, delayed, changed, or unavailable. You remain solely responsible for verifying every hearing, deadline, location, remote-appearance detail, and case obligation through authoritative sources.

Your account and authorization

You must provide accurate account and attorney-match information, safeguard access to your sign-in email, and promptly report suspected unauthorized use. You represent that you are authorized to connect the calendar account you select and to direct AttorneyCal to create and maintain its dedicated calendar. You are responsible for selecting a calendar account and environment appropriate for the client, party, case, hearing, and remote-appearance information written to it and for complying with applicable professional duties and organizational policies. You may not impersonate another attorney, access another user’s data, probe or disrupt the service, circumvent security controls, or use AttorneyCal unlawfully.

Calendar-provider terms

Your use of Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook remains subject to that provider’s terms and policies. You may disconnect a provider at any time. Disconnecting stops future AttorneyCal updates but does not automatically delete events already written to the dedicated provider calendar.

Availability and changes

AttorneyCal may add or remove features, impose pilot limits, suspend access for security or misuse, or discontinue the pilot. AttorneyCal will make reasonable efforts to communicate material planned changes to active pilot users, but continuous availability is not promised.

Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the pilot is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, or uninterrupted operation. AttorneyCal does not warrant that court or provider data will be error-free or that every change will synchronize.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AttorneyCal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for missed hearings, deadlines, lost data, lost profits, or professional consequences arising from use of or inability to use the pilot. Any aggregate liability for a claim relating to the pilot will not exceed the amount you paid AttorneyCal for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by Utah law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Questions about these terms may be sent to support@attorneycal.com.
